An Overview of the Australian Curriculum
The Australian curriculum provides schools, teachers, students, and the rest of the educational community with a clear and concise program for what young students in Australia should learn. The curriculum is implemented nationwide, regardless of what educational institution the students are enrolled in. The national curriculum provides a set program for students from Foundation to Year 10. This program includes the curriculum content, an achievement standard for the students, and freedom for teachers to tailor their classes based on student needs.
